Dog lovers, John Kent, Veronica Pelot, and their two sons purchased the Barkway in November of 2016. The Barkway has 28 dog suites and two cat rooms. The cage-free dog boarding is spacious with private indoor/outdoor areas. The cat rooms are large enough for your pur-family with large cat-trees to explore and play on.
The trail network, which is also available for clients to explore, spans over 5 km of paths. Walk through an apple orchard, pine grove, and maple trees all in the same day. Then play with your dog in our client-accessible off-leash yard.

There are smaller rooms perfect for cats while the larger suites are for dogs. The standard dog suites are 6 ft by 6 ft indoor while the premium suites are 7 ft by 10 feet and each has a 6 ft by 9 ft exterior run. Every room has its own Kuranda raised dog bed and can accommodate up to three dogs from the same pack. We never double occupy your dog with anyone else’s dogs.
We believe that all dogs should have the best care when their owners are away. The Loyalist Barkway is your fur-family’s home away from home where they get the loyal treatment.
